The European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID) has set up an internet-based patient and research database which integrates research data with more detailed clinical information. The aim of this database is to achieve long-term documentation of patients with primary immunodeficiencies (PID). There are over 200 different types of PID that can be grouped into 7 different categories, one of which are autoinflammatory diseases (AID). Therefore, there is an overlap between the EUROFEVER Registry and the ESID Database. EUROFEVER centres that are following patients with other kinds of PID are encouraged to contribute their data to the ESID Database.
